Luban Prize winning project (2018-2019): Xi'an Jiaotong University Materials Research and Basic Disciplines Building
The Xi'an Jiaotong University Materials Research and Basic Disciplines Building project is located at No. 28, Xining West Road, Beilin District, Xi'an City. It covers an area of 59,540.9 square meters, with a total height of 36.9 meters. It undertakes the research and development of key projects such as the General Armament Department's pre-research key projects and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and is the State Key Laboratory of Non-Equilibrium Synthesis and Regulation of Matter. The project integrates scientific research experiments and teaching conferences, and is green, energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and comfortable. The facade uses a medium gray color consistent with Xi'an Jiaotong University's Xingqing campus, giving it a simple and stable texture. The inner courtyard uses a steel structure corridor to achieve convenient transportation.
