A new architectural icon for esports has officially landed in Chongqing.
The Chongqing Wolves Esports Arena, delivered by SCEGC No.11 Construction Engineering Group, is now fully operational and already hosting major tournaments. With its futuristic spacecraft-inspired design, the venue has quickly become one of the city’s most distinctive new landmarks. 🎮🏗️

• Seating capacity: 2,000 spectators
• National Grade-A professional esports arena
• 82-meter long-span steel structure
• Hundreds of uniquely twisted steel components — no two are identical
Engineering Challenge
“Even a 1mm deviation could cause failure,” noted the project technical team.
How it was achieved
✔ 3D laser scanning for precision control
✔ BIM-based digital twin modeling
✔ Full-process virtual construction simulation
Every connection point was digitally verified before installation, enabling a successful one-time steel structure closure.
Precision beyond the structure
Even in constrained underground spaces such as the fire pump room, the team coordinated formwork, reinforcement, and concrete works with surgical precision — demonstrating craftsmanship in every detail.
From the Wei River to the Jialing River, this project showcases how engineering innovation can empower emerging cultural and digital industries, shaping the future of urban experiences.
